I got Raided - Everything Should Pay to Credit!
No, everything should NOT pay to Credit. Anything you have some control over, bets, searching debris etc. need to be handled/dealt with by players before they log off/forget. There need to be things that if not handled right let raids occur.

The list of what can go to your Galactic Credit cannot continue to grow Otherwise we may as well remove the raid feature entirely which we won't let happen.

You have no control over when mining will pay out so those go to Credit, other things will continue to go to your cargo.

As a convenience feature, Notorious players have item market items go to Credit and 80% of points - this is partly to avoid the case where nothing is in the market and partly as an incentive to help support the site.
Why Doesn't the Server Time Automatically Update?
The server time could have some JavaScript in it to attempt to show a simulation of what the server time actually is. This would probably be very close to the server time but other than slowing the refresh down with the extra JavaScript code, it doesn't serve a purpose. Every computer has a visible clock time on it already and the time freeze lets players see at a glance how old the page data is.

It will also confuse new players who then think that the page contents are 'broken' and 'not automatically refreshing' since the dynamic timer implies this would be the case, so it is not done.
For mining why does it only look at the amount of defense / engines that you have researched and not the total for your ship?
In brief, people 'cheat' and borrow/install things to qualify for a job, then return the item and/or install something else which drops one or more of their stats below the allowed point - that let them keep a mining site they didn't qualify for which is an unfair exploit.

We modified the code so this would not work (they lose the job when the stats drop too low) but then people felt that if their 'natural' stats were sufficient installing things with penalties shouldn't make them 'lose' the job.

So it went to player vote and input; the result is the behavior you see. The decision has been made to use base stats (what you'll see on your Research page); equipping engines won't qualify you for a mining task you can't get with your base technology, nor will unequipping them make you lose the job.

Inactive for Two Days - No Mining

Players must be active for mining to be paid for mining. Active play = active pay.
